Pastoral Care

Shepherding & Support

“Shepherd the flock of God that is among you…” – 1 Peter 5:2 (ESV)

Who We Are

At First Baptist Starkville, we believe caring for one another reflects the very heart of Jesus. Our Pastoral Care Ministry exists to walk alongside people in seasons of joy, sorrow, and transition. Through prayer, encouragement, visits, and practical support, we seek to meet spiritual and emotional needs with compassion and grace. Whether you are facing illness, grief, or personal challenges, you are never alone—your church family is here to stand with you.

When & Where

Care and support are provided by appointment or as needed, with meetings typically held in the Pastoral Offices in the Main Building, or in members’ homes, hospitals, and other care settings.

What to Expect

When you participate in our Pastoral Care Ministry, you can expect compassionate, Christ-centered support in every season of life. Whether you are facing illness, grief, a personal crisis, or celebrating a joyful milestone, our pastors and care team are here to walk with you.
